Как уже писалось ранее, телефон очень сильно похож на своего собрата Nova 2i, а тот, в свою очередь (впрочем, как и многие последние аппараты Huawei), плавными очертаниями корпуса и расположением некоторых элементов напоминает смартфоны известного .

Задняя крышка девайса целиком выполнена из металла, в верхней и нижней части тыльной поверхности гармонично вписались узкие пластиковые полоски, скрывающие за собой антенны.

У верхней кромки находится сдвоенная основная камера смартфона, ее два глаза и светодиодная вспышка выстроены в прямую линию и располагаются прямо пластиковой вставке. Объективы модуля немного выступают над остальной поверхностью, но дискомфорта или неудобства в процессе пользования это не вызывает.

Чуть ниже, в центре, находится . Многие пользователи выговаривают Huawei, что она не перенесла этот датчик на переднюю панель смартфона, под дисплей.

На экране Full HD+ очень удобно смотреть кинофильмы в «театральном» формате, когда изображение сильно вытянуто. При пропорциях изображения 18:9 просмотр подобных картин комфортен, так как практически не остается черных полос сверху и снизу картинки.

За функционирование программной части смартфона Huawei Honor 7X отвечает операционная система Android 7.1, работающая в симбиозе с фирменной оболочкой Huawei EMUI 5.1. К звуковой составляющей нового смартфона от Huawei особых вопросов нет. Он отрабатывает вложенные в него финансы на сто процентов.

Звучание основного динамика обычное, громкость хорошая, но для прослушивания музыкальных композиций, особенно ценителям качественного звука, он не подойдет.

Зато при использовании наушников ситуация значительно улучшается. Помогает этому встроенный в оболочку EMUI функционал для работы со звуком. Во-первых, можно выбрать тип используемых стереонаушников (внутриканальные, вставные или накладные), во-вторых, можно воспользоваться фирменной технологией Histen, включающей в себя предустановленный набор звуковых эффектов и эквалайзеров.

Производительность

В качестве «сердца» смартфона Huawei Honor 7X выступает восьмиядерный процессор HiSilicon Kirin 659 c тактовой частотой ядер до 2,36 ГГц. Графический чип – Mali-T830 MP2.

Объем гаджета составляет 4 Гигабайта, внутренний диск может похвастаться размером в 64 Гигабайта. Объем встроенного накопителя будет вполне достаточным для большинства владельцев смартфона. Дизайн и эргономика

Смартфон представлен в нескольких цветовых вариантах задней крышки, но при этом чёрная передняя панель бывает и белой. Присутствуют чёрная, красная, золотистая и голубая модели, которые смотрятся одинаково хорошо, так как все оттенки прекрасно гармонируют между собой.

Изготовлен он из поликарбоната и пластиковых вставок, применяемых для улучшенного прохода сигнала и меньшего количества помех для GSM-модуля. На задней крышке находятся двойная камера со вспышкой в верхнем левом углу и сканер отпечатков чуть выше геометрической середины.

На передней панели расположен экран, который занимает большое пространство. Верхняя и нижняя рамки довольно широкие, а боковые пытаются казаться более тонкими, чем есть на самом деле. Снизу отступ пустует – все кнопки теперь переехали на сам дисплей и теперь здесь можно увидеть только логотип бренда Honor. Сверху находятся камера и датчики, которые отвечают за функционирование разблокировки по лицу.

Дисплей

FullView – один из самых прочно закрепившихся трендов во всей индустрии. Такие дисплеи обычно намного длиннее своих более архаичных вариантов, которые брали за основу классические соотношения сторон. Они обеспечивают, по признанию большинства пользователей, более кинематографичное ощущение от работы. Разрешение – 1440х720 или HD+, что не является слишком малым показателем, даже на сегодняшний день. IPS-матрицы стали гораздо дешевле, TN или TFT больше не применяются нигде, а значит, даже при невысокой плотности пикселей трудно будет увидеть отдельные детали благодаря превосходному сглаживанию.

Фирменная опция Huawei Colour позволяет настроить теплоту отображения элементов на дисплее так, как будет интересно владельцу. А значит, устранить можно как слишком сильный закос в желтизну, так и излишнюю синюшность картинки. Яркости функция добавляет умеренно, так что обеспечить хорошую видимость днём на солнце экран, увы, неспособен.

Углы обзора неплохие, но не более того, искажения цветности проявляются в некоторых моментах и это не связано с интенсивностью наклона. Слои IPS-матрицы, как известно, способны пропускать свет под разными углами. Поэтому, хоть и надо сильно постараться, чтобы искажения стали заметны, когда их видно это не совсем приятное зрелище.

Производительность и бенчмарки

Одна с самых слабых сторон этого телефона – железная начинка. 430 снэпдрэгон уже немного староват для того, чтобы использовать его второй раз подряд (он был установлен и в 6А). К этому добавляется нехватка ОЗУ, двух гигабайт которой сегодня достаточно разве что устройствам под управлением Android Go. Поэтому, при активном использовании и малейшем намёке на мультизадачность начинаются неприятные тормоза. В обычных, щадящих сценариях, он себя, конечно, показывает неплохо, но ещё немного памяти ему явно не достаёт.

Неспешность проявляется и в других вещах. Например, разбудить аппарат с помощью дактилоскопического сенсора получается с видимой задержкой, даже когда на нём вообще ничего в фоне не происходит. Сказываются и устаревшие, медленные чипы LPDDR3, которые, в паре с не самым скоростным постоянным хранилищем, не смогут полностью раскрыть все способности 430-го.

Игры идут нормально, если это не новинки. Поиграть во что-то посвежее не выйдет даже при самых минимальных графических изысках – частота кадров невероятно низка и может стать причиной неудовлетворительных показателей в матчах. Казуалки же и топовые тайтлы прошлых времён будут без проблем переварены начинкой, в них комфортно играть при любых условиях. Они хорошо подстраиваются под соотношение сторон, которое было в диковинку во время выхода.

Синтетика показывает предсказуемые результаты:

• AnTuTu v6 – 45000 очков.
• PCMark for Android – 1800 баллов за вычислительные способности и 920 за жизнь от батареи.
• Geekbench – 670 и 2600 в одно- и многоядерном тестах соответственно.

Камеры и фотографии

Несмотря на то, что многие производители уже комплектуют свои бюджетки двойными модулями, где вторая линза очень малого разрешения и присутствует исключительно для создания глубины, а не получения подробной информации для ПО про освещение, эта модель не пошла таким путём. Спаренный модуль используется в её Pro-версии, здесь же – одиночный 13-мегапиксельный сенсор, который снимает неплохо. Есть HDR-режим, работающий более мягко, чем в остальных аппаратах такого калибра, что позволяет создавать не пересвеченные или слишком тёмные снимки, а придавать им более натуральный вид. Однако, это слишком плохо реализовано – выбирать режим нужно вручную, а доступные варианты применяются не всегда корректно. Особенно это касается выуживания мелких деталей в тенях или регулировки насыщенности красок неба.

Плохое освещение заставляет пользоваться не самой яркой вспышкой, отключив которую можно получить только большое количество шумов и пропавшие после постпроцесса детали. Макроснимки же даже в помещении будут смотреться неплохо и чётко.

Фронталка (8 Мп) обладает ужаснейшим beauty-фильтром, который большинство захочет отключить сразу после первого снимка. Интенсивность применения может принимать ужасающие напоминающие манекен формы. В остальном – неплохие кадры днём, посредственные в помещении и ужасные ночью, всё предельно стандартно.

При этом, выбирается схема управления жестами, которая находится в состоянии активной разработки и с каждым обновлением обогащается интересными фишками.

Автономность и батарея

Трёхамперная батарея – практически золотой стандарт для аппаратов современности. Поэтому, автономность находится на приличном уровне, истрачивая полный заряд за полтора дня обычного использования. Если же в планах – интенсивное потребление медиаконтента, хватить аккумулятора может на гораздо меньшее время. День выдержать он, очевидно, сможет с большим трудом, но придётся вечер провести около розетки.

Поддержки стандартов быстрой зарядки нет, поэтому стоит озаботиться тем, чтобы за уровнем ёмкости аккумулятора был постоянный контроль.
